So Close!

Last bit of the skein
Sometimes I think the knitting gods are looking out for me. I've started a new project that I'm still undecided as to whether or not if I really do like. The yarn I'm using comes in 110 yard hanks, and since it's a bulky weight yarn it means that I won't be able to do my beloved Russian Join method of attaching new hanks of yarn. I've finished one section of the new project with this much yarn left of the first hank. I'm going to rip back to the armhole and join a new hank (cause it'll just look nicer that way), but it's nice to know that I'm not going to be wasting a lot of yarn.

I had a pretty busy weekend and didn't get around to taking any photos of the now completely blocked and finished (and worn several times) Queen Bee cardigan. I'm hoping I'll get the chance to before the weekend. I've also got some other posts on the go and ready, but am feeling a bit too lazy to find photos to go with them (I can't, for the life of me, put up photo-less posts!). So I can guarantee that next week will be better with posting. I promise!

  1. Holy moly! They are the coolest knitting needles I have ever seen. I need to get me a pair.

  2. Hey Kat!

The needles are the interchangeable kind from Knit Picks! Unfortunately I don't think they ship outside of North America. There is also a British version called KnitPro. I hope that helps!
