Favorite Things!

There's 2 things you should know about me: 1. I love presents, not just getting them but also giving them; 2. I've always wanted to do a swap but either been too scared to join one or just haven't had the time to do the required work...like having to source certain kinds of fabric for a certain kind of project.

But then I found this swap. It's a Favorite Things Swap hosted by According to Kelly, and guess what? The deadline for sign ups is Friday July 3rd, 2009. Which means you still have time to sign up! This is what she has posted on her blog about the swap:

It's really quite simple: as a participant, you will be asked to choose at least three objects

(i don't think anyone would mind if you decide to send more) that are some of YOUR favorite things to send to your partner...maybe it's an apron you made, your new favorite book, or that favorite flavor of lip gloss. Be creative & most importantly have fun with it! Objects can be new or vintage, bought or handmade... just remember, it is best to send something the you'd be pleased & excited to receive yourself.

Upon receiving your "rsvp" i will send out a confirmation email, if you don't hear from me, email me again, sometime emails can get lost & i don't want anyone left out in the cold!

• mailing address.

• email address.

• website / blog (must be involved with at least one of these).

• a little something about yourself.

• please indicate if you are willing to ship internationally.

Swap partners will be emailed to you shortly after the sign-up deadline. the delivery date for this swap is Friday, July 31st... please have it postmarked by then.

Doesn't that sound like a crapload of fun?? When I saw this, I knew that this was the perfect swap for me to start my swapping adventures! And it's not at all intimidating! Seriously, how hard is it to think of what your favorite things are? I already have some favorite things in mind...but it's just a matter of narrowing them down! I have a feeling that my swap partner will be getting more than just 3 things from me! So go on over and sign up and maybe you'll get a package from me!!
