Mr. P
****Disclaimer: There is partial nudity at the very end of this short film. Ok, it's Brett's butt. Don't say I didn't warn you!!****
Brett and I had made this last year before we found out that I was pregnant. Actually, it was Brett that made this. I was just the lowly cameraman who threw in a few ideas here and there. I decided to post this cause Brett finally got his youtube privileges back after being accused of copyright infringement for the song we used. Really, this little film of ours is a personal project that we did for fun and we did not have any intention to receive, nor did we get, any monetary gain from this. Plus, the song added to the artistic expression we were going for. All of which did not infringe the copyright. Just so you know!
Anyways, I had been living in Victoria for only a little over a month and we decided to expand the "set" to a few parts of the city, rather than just our house and the 'hood. I forget how this even came about...Brett usually gets bouts of inspiration for short films sporadically and at the oddest times, and usually when he gets an idea in his head he's obsessed* about it until it comes to fruition.
We got a lot of weird looks from people while filming this. I could be wrong, but most likely because we were carrying around a little plastic man that had a certain male appendage, and we were placing it in odd places. We also got a lot of attention from dogs. Oh, and just so you know, that little plastic man is actually a lamp that I had bought eons ago. His doodle is actually the light switch and he's suppose to have a blue plastic lampshade over his head, which we didn't use for the short...for obvious reasons.
Hoped you enjoyed it**!
*As in everything else in life is nil until his idea is accomplished...such as eating, doing paperwork, taking out the trash, grocery shopping, dates...you get the picture!
**Sorry that I had to subject you to Brett's butt at the end there!
OMG!!!!!!! I almost peed myself! This is so friggin hilarious! I can't wait to show my hubby this. I have that guy on my keychain!!! Hahahahahah! I love the scene at Starbucks in Cook St. village! Priceless!!!
