Online

Keyboard
After being silent for almost a week, I'm finally back online!! Yay!! My internet went down unexpectantly last Wednesday and after waiting pretty much all day for it to come back on I made a frustrating (and apparently pointless) call to my internet provider, only to be told that "there must be some work going on in your area". Hmmm. Thursday, no internet. Friday, still no internet. Saturday, I was swearing up a storm. Sunday, a call to said provider using a firm voice and some choice words and voila! We're back online!

Grrr...so frustrating though!! You don't really understand just how much you use and are reliant on the internet until you can't go online. I have a lot of catching up to do, so please excuse any slow responses, postings, and such. I'm just happy to be connected to the world wide web again!

  1. Ah, yes. The ever helpful service provider always says it's "on your end." Glad you're back up!

  2. Welcome back!
Last week our internet went down too; I had less patience then you (or perhaps I'm just more addicted?) and ran (drove) to a wifi coffee shop in town to get my daily online work taken care of! Ha.

And yes, more hip fracture = more knitting. A LOT more knitting! I'm back to being a Tuesday night 'regular', but I don't know if I can swing Friday's too often, Ryan likes to go out and do things and show me off :P Hobbled or not!

  3. I know how you feel. We had heaps of trouble getting our internet connected when we moved into our new house. It was a right pain in the butt!

Why is it always on our end?? When will companies realize it's ALWAYS their end? ;)

I was close to running to the nearest coffee shop with my laptop, but then I remembered that my iPhone has internet connection. Phew! Not the same, but at least I could still check my email and Ravelry! And that's all that matters.

Moving is a pain in the butt. Period. Especially when you need to get things hooked up.
