I hope everyone is having (or had) a fantastic Halloween! Filled with lots of candy, pumpkins, and laughs!! Unfortunately things are panning out like we had hoped around these parts. Halloween is both mine and Brett's favourite time of year, but starting Thursday both the Munchkin and Brett came down with the flu. Then late Friday night I came down with an even worse version of their flu. It was so bad that I was completely bed-ridden all day yesterday and was in the worse shape that I have ever been in. Ugh! I really hope this is the only time this year that we'll be sick. Definitely not good times!
So this Halloween we'll be staying in, handing out treats, and watching a zombie movie marathon. Hopefully I'll be well enough to go back to work tomorrow. I'm a bit sad that I didn't get the chance to see everyone's costumes!
Oh well, there is always next year!

Thanks for the pumpkin compliments! My little guy was too sick to dress up on the actual day of Halloween, but he really, really, REALLY wanted to wear his dragon costume all day the day after!
