...And I'm getting ready for a date with my sewing machine! I highly doubt I'll be able to sew for hours, as much as I wish I could. But I'll take any time that I can get with my dearly beloved and neglected Midnight Miss Juki (yes, that's what I call my sewing machine. She's named after Posh Spice's superhero name from the Say You'll Be There video)! Hopefully I'll have something to show you all in the next week or so...something that isn't knitting related, as I'm sure all you non-knitters are (im)patiently waiting for non-knitting blog content!

I have slowly been getting back into the sewing. I always find it hard after having holidays to get back into it. I am making some bunting and a congratulations banner for our engagement party this weekend. I also have a skirt cut out that I really need to sew together. Can't wait to see what your making!
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard to get back into it when life gets in the way, huh? I'm trying really hard in making the time for it, and for getting everything prepared ahead of time so that when the Munchkin is not around I can jump into the sewing part without having to fuss over the cutting out.
