A friend
To make me feel better and to prevent me from suffering buyers remorse, the same encouraging friend surprised me by buying me the other Spud & Chloe pattern that I've been wanting but couldn't justify buying. That pattern would be the Sidecar Jacket. How nice of her! But who knows when I'll be able to get around to knitting that one up. I have a feeling it's not going to be happening anytime this year.
I also had my eye on another pattern, The Uptown Downtown sweater jacket. But after looking at it, I decided I had purely liked the looks and style of the garment but would most likely not wear it. Yay! One less thing to add to my list of things to knit!
Now, time to hunt down some yarn that I can use to make the Hooter Hat...
OMG! That little hat is adorable! I'm glad you gave in! The little man is going to rock that hat! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is one cute hat! Which store has Spud and Cloe? Button and Needlework I'm guessing. I bought a couple skeins of the Sweater yarn in Van this weekend and it is so soft.....

ReplyDeleteIf I can get him to keep it on his head, then all is good! ;) Usually I can get him to wear a hat when I first put it on him, but then he'll remember that something is on his head...
Wendy:
You're right, Button and Needlework is now carrying Spud & Chloe. Ohhh...what are you going to make with the sweater yarn?? Isn't it just luscious?? So squishy and yummy!
That hat is so incredible cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute hat, it looks like it will be a fun one to make. Is it starting to get cold where you are? Bye for now xo
ReplyDeletewhat cute hat! :)
ReplyDeleteKat:
ReplyDeleteThe hat is so darn cute, I don't think I've ever been obsessed with a hat pattern like I've been with this one! :)
Beck:
Not only does it look fun to make, but I'm (really hoping!) thinking that it'll also be a quick knit too! Double score! And yes, it is starting to get really cold here in Victoria (Canada) as we move into the fall season. Last night I think the temperature actually went to below zero degrees!
Fiona:
Thank you! :)
